Smitty’s Supply Inc. Steps Up to Make Hand Sanitizer to Help Combat COVID-19

Smitty’s Supply Inc. of Roseland, LA announces in the last few weeks the company has been working to manufacture critically needed Hand Sanitizer.

On Monday this week, Smitty’s began supplying Louisiana and Mississippi hospitals, FEMA, police offices, local government agencies, and other medical related businesses. “I’m truly excited for our Smitty’s Supply Associates. They have banded together to help support our community by producing critically needed hand sanitizer during this pandemic. Their hard work and resiliency are a credit to the American spirit. I couldn’t be more proud of our Smitty’s team and everyone’s hard work to support our community during this trying time. Our supply is currently limited to local needs at this time, but we are making every effort to expand production,” says Bryan Boudreaux, COO.

As a leading supplier of automotive and industrial lubricants, Smitty’s converted some of its blend tanks and packaging assets at Roseland, LA to produce hand sanitizer under its SeaWash brand. In addition to manufacturing the product, Smitty’s is now distributing the product within their local Marketing Area.
