Afton and Infineum announce lubricant additive increases, Ergon set to moves naphthenic base oil prices
- Ergon, today announced it will increase the price of its naphthenic base oil by 25cpg. The increase is effective February 11, 2022.
- Infineum advised customers it will increase lubricant additive prices by up to 15%, effective January 31, 2022. Blenders are told the adjustment is necessary due to unprecedented increases in the cost of raw materials, manufacturing and shipping.
- Afton Chemical Corporation announced it will increase the price of its lubricant additives by up to 15%, effective February 21, 2022. This adjustment is also reported to be attributed to unprecedented increases in costs.
