Pinnacle Oil and HF Sinclair Announce Price Increases
Pinnacle Oil announced it will be increasing prices by up to 15% on all bulk and packaged products. The increase is effective April 15, 2022. The adjustment is said to be necessary due to upward pricing pressure on base oil and additives.
HF Sinclair announced a price increase of up to 25%, effective May 2, 2022. The increase applies to book prices, area-wide prices, and tiered customer pricing for Petro-Canada finished lubricants, food-grade white mineral oils, and Parafelx HT process oil. In addition, there will be an increase to zone freights of 15 cpg. The increase in freight charges is due to higher carrier and fuel costs.
