Updated 1/6/2021:  Notifications about lubricant price increases taking effect in January 2021 are hitting the desks of marketers. The need for the adjustments is attributed to increases in the price of base oil, as well as increases in the cost of nearly all other raw materials used in the blending and packaging of lubricants. These include lubricant additives, plastic resin, and corrugated; as well as higher transportation and manufacturing costs.
