User Responsibility and Inputs

Technical Limitations

The Tools use simplified models and generalized assumptions. Calculations such as viscosity blending, viscosity index estimation, cost modeling, and performance comparisons are approximate and directional.

• CCS, MRV, pour point, Noack volatility, oxidation stability, wear, and deposit control cannot be reliably certified by simplified calculators.
• All technical conclusions should be validated through laboratory testing and qualified technical review.

Formulation and Performance Risk

Changes to base oil composition, Group II/III balance, additive treat rates, or formulation structure may materially affect viscosity, VI, low-temperature performance, oxidation resistance, volatility, wear protection, deposit control, compatibility, and field performance.

Approvals, Specifications, and Licensing

Many lubricant products are subject to industry standards, approvals, and licensing programs, including API, ILSAC, ACEA, OEM approvals, dexos®, and other proprietary specifications.

Reformulation may invalidate existing approvals or licenses, require re-testing and re-approval, or restrict the ability to make certain claims.

Claims, Marketing, and Representation

The Tools do not validate, support, or authorize any product claims, including performance claims, comparative claims, OEM claims, specification claims, or marketing statements.

Commercial and Customer Considerations

The Tools do not account for customer-specific requirements, contractual obligations, product positioning, brand perception, field performance variability, market acceptance, or competitive dynamics.

Economic and Value Estimates

Outputs related to TCO, ROI, savings, pricing, and margin are estimates based on assumptions and may vary significantly depending on actual operating conditions. They are illustrative, not guaranteed.

No Warranty

The Tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JobbersWorld shall not be liable for damages, lost profit, business interruption, product failure, compliance issues, labeling claims, or commercial losses arising from use of, or reliance on, the Tools.
