Waring Oil Company Expands after Acquisition of the Commercial Fuels and Lubes division of Lavigne Oil Company
Waring Oil Company, LLC announced the acquisition of the Commercial Fuels and Lubricants Division from Lavigne Oil Company, located in Baton Rouge. This allows Waring to expand its growth opportunities in the Central and Southern Louisiana regions. It will also increase the company’s overall footprint in Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana
Waring Oil has six bulk plants throughout Mississippi and Alabama: Vicksburg, Jackson, Louisville, Tupelo, Biloxi, and Mobile. Each location is a full-service provider of lubricants and fuels. The home office is in Vicksburg. This acquisition will solidify Waring’s presence in Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, and the Florida Panhandle.
Waring Oil Company carries Chevron, Castrol, Fuchs, and Sunoco brands. In addition to lubricants, Waring Oil is a major supplier of wholesale fuels and DEF.
Lavigne Oil Company will continue to maintain and grow its presence in the retail and branded dealer business. Lavigne Oil Company offers fuel to its branded dealer stations across the Gulf Coast, with customers located in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. Lavigne Oil operates the Chip’s To Go Market, home of the famous Chicken on a Stick.
