Amalie Oil Company Named 2025 AutoZone WITTDTJR Award Winner
AutoZone recently hosted its annual vendor summit in Memphis, Tennessee. During this summit, AutoZone took the opportunity to honor their supplier partners who exhibited outstanding performance and a strong dedication to customer satisfaction over the past year.
Amalie Oil Company was presented with the distinguished WITTDTJR Award—short for “What It Takes To Do The Job Right.” Established in 1985 by Doc Crain, Auto Shack’s first store manager, this award is presented annually to a select group of AutoZone suppliers who support AutoZone’s commitment to providing customers with the products and parts they need to do the job right the first time.
During the presentation, it was conveyed that Amalie continually had outstanding fill rates at a competitive offering while continuing to maintain constant communication and partnership throughout the organization. It was also shared that AMALIE partnered to support additional AutoZone DC inventory needs when called upon.
Representing the more than 700 hard-working men and women who make up the AMALIE Team were CEO and President Harry Barkett, COO Rick Barkett, National Sales Manager David Castillo, and Marketing and Business Analyst Johnny Perez. Without the passion and dedication of our “FAMALIE” members, this prestigious award would not have been possible. The entire AMALIE Team is honored with great enthusiasm to have been recognized by AutoZone with such a prestigious award.
As the largest family-owned lubricant manufacturer in North America, AMALIE is dedicated to producing quality products and providing excellent customer service. For more information, visit amalie.com
