DuraMAX Named Title Sponsor of March 1 NASCAR Cup Series Race at Circuit of the Americas

Multi-year agreement launches newly titled DuraMAX Grand Prix at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas.

DuraMAX, a national brand of vehicle maintenance products, has been named the title sponsor of the NASCAR Cup Series race scheduled for Sunday, March 1, at Circuit of the Americas.

Under a multi-year agreement between RelaDyne, owner and distributor of the DuraMAX brand, and Speedway Motorsports, the event will be branded as the DuraMAX Grand Prix. The race marks NASCAR’s sixth annual visit to COTA and will serve as the third event on the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series calendar.

The 95-lap, 228-mile DuraMAX Grand Prix will be contested on COTA’s permanent road course and follows the season-opening Daytona 500 on February 15 and the February 22 event at EchoPark Speedway. The race is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcast nationally on FOX, with radio coverage provided by PRN and SiriusXM Radio. International coverage will reach audiences in more than 195 countries and territories through NASCAR’s global broadcast partners.

Mike Cooper, chief commercial officer of RelaDyne, said the sponsorship aligns with DuraMAX’s continued growth in the installed automotive market. “The DuraMAX Grand Prix allows us to highlight the performance and reliability our products are designed to deliver across a wide range of applications,” Cooper said. “Motorsports remains an effective platform for brand visibility and customer engagement.”

DuraMAX offers a full portfolio of vehicle maintenance products, including full synthetic, high-mileage, and synthetic-blend motor oils, along with antifreeze, filters, and wiper blades. The brand serves a broad installed market that includes independent installers and large automotive service groups nationwide.

Since 2017, DuraMAX has utilized motorsports partnerships to support brand awareness, with involvement across NASCAR, INDYCAR, and Sprint Car racing. The brand first entered NASCAR in 2022 as title sponsor of a Cup Series race at Dover Motor Speedway and has since appeared in additional high-profile NASCAR events, including the Daytona 500.

The NASCAR at COTA weekend begins Friday, February 27, and includes the Focused Health 250 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race on Saturday, February 28, at 2:00 p.m. Both races will be contested on COTA’s 17-turn, 2.4-mile National Course.
