GracoRoberts, a global distributor of aerospace specialty chemicals, has acquired Miami-based Sky Mart in a move aimed at strengthening its presence across Latin America and enhancing service capabilities for aerospace customers throughout the region.

The acquisition positions GracoRoberts to deepen its participation in the estimated $6.5 billion Latin American maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) market, while using Miami as a strategic hub for regional logistics and customer support. Company executives said the transaction also expands emergency Aircraft on Ground (AOG) responsiveness and significantly broadens the combined organization’s in-stock portfolio of aerospace lubricants and fluids.

Founded in 1985, Sky Mart is a second-generation, family-owned distributor known for its strong customer base across Latin America and North America and its focus on fast fulfillment and after-hours AOG support. As part of GracoRoberts, Sky Mart adds approximately 42,000 square feet of fulfillment capacity across facilities in Miami, San Antonio, and Indianapolis, along with a substantial inventory of oils, greases, and specialty fluids.

The acquisition also expands GracoRoberts’ technical sales coverage across Latin America, the Caribbean, Florida, and select U.S. markets. Sky Mart customers will gain access to GracoRoberts’ wider range of aerospace adhesives, composites, paints, and coatings, as well as its global ecommerce platforms and technical support infrastructure.

Both companies emphasized that leadership teams will work closely to ensure a seamless integration, with no disruption to customer service or supplier relationships.

The transaction is backed by CM Equity Partners, the private equity sponsor of GracoRoberts. Under Caldwell’s leadership, GracoRoberts has completed six acquisitions over the past seven years, including E.V. Roberts, Able Aerospace Adhesives, Silmid, SkyGeek, Pacific Coast Composites, and now Sky Mart, as part of a broader strategy to expand global reach and digital capabilities.

Headquartered in Arlington, Texas, GracoRoberts serves aerospace OEMs, MROs, and defense customers worldwide and operates through a family of brands that includes Silmid, SkyGeek, and Pacific Coast Composites. Sky Mart will continue operating from its Miami headquarters as part of the GracoRoberts organization.
