DuraMAX Named Entitlement Sponsor of NASCAR Cup Series Race at COTA

As announced on NASCARatCOTA.com, DuraMAX, RelaDyne’s national brand line of vehicle maintenance products, has been named the primary entitlement sponsor of the NASCAR Cup Series race scheduled for Sunday, March 1, at Circuit of The Americas (COTA). Under a multi-year agreement with Speedway Motorsports, the event will be branded as the DuraMAX Grand Prix – Powered by RelaDyne.

The NASCAR Cup Series race is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcast nationally on FOX. International distribution will be provided through NASCAR’s global broadcast partners, reaching audiences in 195 countries and territories in more than 29 languages. National radio coverage will be available via PRN and SiriusXM Radio.

The 2026 event marks the sixth consecutive NASCAR Cup Series appearance at COTA and will serve as the third race on the season calendar. The 95-lap, 228-mile DuraMAX Grand Prix will be contested on the permanent road course in Austin, Texas, following the season-opening Daytona 500 on February 15 and the February 22 race at EchoPark Speedway.

The race weekend begins Friday, February 27, and also includes the Focused Health 250 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race on Saturday, February 28, with a scheduled start time of 2:00 p.m. CT. Both series will compete on COTA’s 17-turn, 2.4-mile National Course, which debuted last season after four years on the 20-turn, 3.41-mile Full Course configuration.

RelaDyne executives said the entitlement sponsorship reflects continued investment in the DuraMAX brand and its expansion within the automotive aftermarket.

“Our entitlement of the DuraMAX Grand Prix, followed by the ‘Powered by RelaDyne’ designation, represents an important step in our ongoing brand growth,” said Eric Royse, Chief Executive Officer of RelaDyne. “DuraMAX is the fastest-growing engine oil brand in the installed segment, and our nationwide footprint of more than 190 locations helps support that momentum across the installer base.”

Mike Cooper, RelaDyne’s Chief Commercial Officer, said the partnership provides an opportunity to further engage customers, employees, partners, and NASCAR fans through a nationally visible platform.

NASCAR at COTA General Manager Mark Faber said RelaDyne’s operational focus and industry presence align well with the event and its audience.
