DuraMAX Brings Full Race Weekend Activation to COTA with JJ Yeley Focused Health 250 Entry

DuraMAX, the national line of vehicle maintenance products powered by RelaDyne, will anchor race weekend at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) as both title sponsor of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series event and primary partner on a Saturday race entry.

As previously announced on NASCARatCOTA.com, DuraMAX has been named the primary entitlement sponsor of the NASCAR Cup Series race scheduled for Sunday, March 1, at COTA. Under a multi-year agreement with Speedway Motorsports, the weekend will be branded the DuraMAX Grand Prix – Powered by RelaDyne.

Expanding its presence beyond entitlement rights, RelaDyne confirmed that veteran driver JJ Yeley will compete in Saturday’s Focused Health 250 in a fully DuraMAX-branded No. 42 car fielded by Young’s Motorsports. The entry extends brand visibility across both days of competition at the 17-turn road course.

The O’Reilly Auto Parts Series will headline Saturday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m. CT with the 65-lap Focused Health 250 (TV: CW, Radio: PRN, SiriusXM). Saturday’s schedule also includes NASCAR Cup Series practice (11 a.m. CT) and qualifying (12:10 p.m. CT), along with two timed VP Racing SportsCar Challenge races (9:10 a.m. CT and 5:30 p.m. CT).

Race weekend activity begins Friday, Feb. 27, with O’Reilly Auto Parts Series practice (4 p.m. CT) and qualifying (5 p.m. CT), in addition to VP Racing SportsCar Challenge practice (2 p.m. CT) and qualifying (6:30 p.m. CT).

RelaDyne leadership characterized the expanded activation as part of the company’s broader brand-building strategy.

“Seeing DuraMAX represented not only as the title sponsor of race weekend but also on track with JJ Yeley reflects the continued growth and momentum of our brand,” said Eric Royse, Chief Executive Officer of RelaDyne. “Motorsports represent the ultimate proving ground for performance and reliability — values that define DuraMAX, RelaDyne, and the professionals and customers who trust us every day. This partnership allows us to connect those values directly with race fans.”

“Our collaboration with JJ Yeley and Young’s Motorsports is an exciting extension of our commitment to performance and customer engagement,” said Mike Cooper, Chief Commercial Officer of RelaDyne. “DuraMAX is poured by trusted automotive professionals across the country, and motorsports provide a powerful platform to showcase that credibility. We’re proud to bring the brand to life in a highly visible way while strengthening relationships with installers, partners, and fans throughout race weekend.”

Young’s Motorsports leadership also emphasized the competitive opportunity presented by the partnership.

“We’re really looking forward to having JJ Yeley pilot our No. 42 car at Circuit of the Americas,” said Tyler Young, team principal of Young’s Motorsports. “JJ’s experience across NASCAR’s national series — especially on road courses — makes him a great fit for a place like COTA and a strong teammate to Ryan Ellis. This is a big opportunity for our team, and having DuraMAX on board for the DuraMAX Grand Prix – Powered by RelaDyne provides the support we need to go out there and execute at a high level. We’re focused on putting together a clean, competitive weekend and making the most of our opportunity on Saturday afternoon.”

DuraMAX’s activation at COTA comes as RelaDyne continues expanding the brand nationwide. DuraMAX offers full synthetic, high-mileage, and synthetic blend motor oils, along with antifreeze, filters, wiper blades, and related vehicle maintenance products. RelaDyne, founded in 2010, operates more than 190 locations across North America and is a major distributor of lubricants, fuels, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), and industrial reliability services.

The DuraMAX Grand Prix weekend combines entitlement sponsorship and on-track participation, positioning the brand prominently throughout the COTA event schedule.
