Kia Renews Global Lubricant Supply Agreement with TotalEnergies
Kia Corporation has renewed a five-year global agreement with TotalEnergies to continue supplying engine oils across its worldwide service and retail network, extending a partnership that spans more than two decades and runs through 2031.
Under the agreement, TotalEnergies engine oils will continue to be supplied through Kia’s global customer and retailer network, supporting vehicle maintenance across its worldwide operations.
The agreement was formalized at a signing ceremony at Kia’s Osan Training Center in Yongin, South Korea, attended by Dong-Hwan Hwang, Head of Kia’s Ownership Management Sub-division, and Elodie Luce, Vice President Automotive at TotalEnergies Lubrifiants.
“Extending our partnership with TotalEnergies marks an important step in reinforcing Kia’s global competitiveness,” said Dong-Hwan Hwang. “By working closely with TotalEnergies, we will continue to elevate service quality, accelerate our progress in the sustainable mobility space, and deliver greater value and confidence to our customers worldwide.”
Elodie Luce added, “We are truly honored to extend our longstanding partnership with Kia as we embark on a fourth consecutive global term. This renewed commitment strengthens our ability to accelerate the development of lubricant solutions tailored to the evolving demands of modern powertrains, including hybrid and electric technologies.”
Kia and TotalEnergies first established a global cooperation agreement in 2011 and have renewed the partnership at five-year intervals. The latest extension continues a long-standing collaboration supporting Kia’s global service network and aftersales operations.
The companies said the agreement builds on a range of joint service and marketing initiatives developed over the past 15 years, with a focus on supporting dealer networks, maintaining service quality, and improving customer satisfaction across global markets. The renewal underscores the continued role of OEM–lubricant supplier partnerships in supporting global aftersales operations.
