Chevron is expanding its North American base oil distribution network, with HF Sinclair set to become its exclusive Group II distributor in Canada while Renkert Oil continues serving other U.S. markets and Chevron’s Group III and process oil portfolios.
HF Sinclair has named Chevron and SK Enmove as the suppliers that will support its base oil business as it prepares to retire the refining assets at its Mississauga, Ontario, facility. Chevron will supply Group II base oils, while SK Enmove will supply Group III under HF Sinclair’s new externally sourced supply model.
