Mort Distributing, Inc., a market leader in the fuel and lubricant business which has servicing operations in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, and North and South Dakota, announced today that it has entered into an acquisition agreement with Parkland through its U.S. based subsidiary (“Parkland USA”). Parkland is one of North America and the Caribbean’s fastest growing independent suppliers and marketers of fuel and petroleum products.

Mort Distributing has been in operation since 1958, started by Erle Mort and has grown through three generations; and is headquartered in Glendive, MT. The company is a leading marketer of fuels and lubricants providing services in the retail stores, agriculture, mining, oil field, railroad, and ranching industries. The Mort family is excited to announce today to its employees, customers, and the public of this acquisition.

The acquisition is expected to close on or about the end of the year.
