Lubricant Price Increase - Updated March 9, 2021
Pinnacle Resources is implement a price increase of 10-15% on all products. The increase is effective April 05, 2021.
Old World Industries announced it will raise the price on all finished lubricants (including grease and power steering products) 10% to 15%, effective April 9, 2021. This increase is a result of the continued increase in the cost of raw materials used in the manufacturing and distribution of these products.
Nu-Tier Brands / Gulf Lubricants announced a general price increase of 10% to 15% effective April 2, 2021 on all finished lubricants and greases. This adjustment is said to be due to due to rising costs associated with raw materials and manufacturing.
Safety-Kleen announced today it will increase the price on all lubricants by 10 to 15%, effective April 1, 2021. Safety-Kleen attributes the need for the adjustment to significant increases in the costs of the raw materials used in the manufacture of lubricants.
Chemlube International announced that due to significant increases in the cost of raw material, the company will raise its Savannah lubricant product prices in the range of 8 to 11%. The increase is effective April 1, 2021.
CAM2 International is implementing a price increase of up to 15%, effective April 5, 2021. The adjustment is said to be due to the continuing, and significant increases in the cost of base oil, freight, resin, additives, corrugate, and labor.
Smitty’s Supply announced it will increase prices on all lubricating oils, fluids, greases, and automotive chemical products by up to 15%, effective April 5, 2021. This adjustment is said to be driven by continued increases in nearly every raw component used to manufacture its products.
Advanced Lubrication Specialties will be implementing a price increase on finished lubricants and greases in the range of 10 to 12%. The increase is effective April 1, 2021.
