Bradenton Fuel Oil to be Acquired by Parkland
Allows organic growth opportunities throughout Florida’s high growth market
Bradenton Fuel Oil, a commercial fuel distributor with operations in Central West Florida, announced today that it has entered into an acquisition agreement with Parkland Corporation (“Parkland”) through its U.S.-based subsidiaries (“Parkland USA”). Parkland is one of North America’s and the Caribbean’s fastest growing independent suppliers and marketers of fuel and petroleum products.
Headquartered in Bradenton, Bradenton Fuel Oil is a full-service fuel delivery company, servicing the region surrounding Tampa, FL, including Sarasota, Palmetto, Venice, Myakka and Parrish, in addition to Bradenton.

It’s fleet of seven tank wagons service a variety of industries, including construction, marine, farming, automotive, steel, manufacturing, metal working, mining and paper. The company operates a 4.48-acre industrial site in Bradenton with a 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse, 90,000 gallons of fuel tank storage and 25,000 gallons of lubricants tank storage.
The owners of Bradenton Fuel Oil issued a statement regarding the acquisition that reads: We are a proud family-owned company, having started more than 50 years ago as a one truck operation. When looking to sell, we were impressed with Parkland’s culture, values and shared belief that our people are our best assets. This transition will enable our employees to further develop in their careers and provide more services and offerings for our valued customers.
The acquisition is expected to close in the third quarter.
Bradenton Fuel Oil will operate as a Branch under the Southeast ROC of Parkland USA, based in Miami, Florida.
