SOPUS Products Set to Increase Lubricant Prices
SOPUS (Pennzoil-Quaker State Company) advised marketers it will be implementing a finished lubricant price increase of up to 15%, effective March 1, 2022.
The adjustment is said to be in response to increases in the cost for base oils and additives, as well as significant increases in the cost of packaging and freight. The need for the increase was reportedly supported by SOPUS providing marketers with a comparatively extensive analysis of market conditions and cost and price drivers.
