The adjustments are said to be in response to the ongoing increases in the cost for raw materials (base oils, additives), and significant increases in the cost of packaging and freight.
Base Oil
ExxonMobil Announces Base Oil Increase
February 16, 2022
Effective February 18, 2022, ExxonMobil will move the price of its base oils up by 20cpg to 35cpg, as follows:
- AC 100, 150, SN 115, 150, and SN 330, SN 400: + 30 cpg
- AC 600, SN 800, AC 2500: +20 cpg
- EHC 45, 50, 65. and 120: + 35 cpg
Motiva Announces Base Oil Increase
February 14, 2022
Lubricant blender received word today that Motiva will be increasing the price of its base oils, as follows. The effective date of the adjustment is February 15, 2022.
Group II
- PRIMA 100: + 20 CPG
- PRIMA 220: +35 CPG
- PRIMA 600: +25 CPG
Group III
- ULTRA 4 cSt: +35 CPG
- ULTRA 6 cSt: +20 CPG
