More Lubricant Price Adjustments
Reliance Fluid Technologies (RFT) will be implementing a price increase of 8 – 12%, effective on June 13, 2022. RFT says the increase is due to the continuing rise in the cost of base oils, packaging, transportation, and other inputs.
Chemlube International announced that due to further increases in the cost of raw materials used in the manufacturing of its lubricants and increases in transportation of such materials, it will be implementing a price increase of up to 8%. This price change will be effective June 1, 2022
Advanced Lubrication Specialties announced it will be implementing a price increase of 8-12% on all products. The adjustment is set to take effect on June 1, 2022. ALS attributes the need for the increase to another significant rise in the costs of raw materials.
Highline Warren advised customers that it is revising the amount and timing of the increase it announced on May 9th (up to 8%, effective June 1). The adjustment will now be up to 12% and go into effect with shipments on or after June 8, 2022. The revision comes in response to Highline Warren learning about a new, large base oil posting increase that the company did not know about when it made May 9th announcement.
