Valvoline Cummins and Mahindra Strengthen Ties with Four-Year Lubricants Pact

Valvoline Cummins Private Limited and Mahindra & Mahindra have unveiled a new four-year strategic partnership, expanding a collaboration that has endured for over two decades. This agreement designates Valvoline Cummins as the main supplier of genuine lubricants for Mahindra’s aftermarket operations, encompassing the Mahindra-Maximile brand lineup.

The deal focuses on delivering premium lubricants, including engine, transmission, and axle oils, optimized for Mahindra’s passenger vehicles, SUVs, and pickups. These products will be rolled out via Mahindra’s vast dealership and ‘Bazar’ networks in India’s North, West, and East regions, ensuring wider accessibility and superior performance for customers.

Sandeep Kalia, Managing Director of Valvoline Cummins, stated, “As a trusted partner with Mahindra for the past decade, we are excited for this evolution of our relationship. Today marks a major milestone that will enable significant business growth and reflects further confidence in our people, technology, innovation, serviceability, and continuous commitment to customer centricity as a core value.”

Michael Dreyer, Senior Vice-President of Valvoline Global Operations, remarked, “Mahindra is fast becoming a trusted global brand, and Valvoline is well-positioned to collaborate across geographies and support their global ambitions. This strategic agreement unites two trusted names with a shared focus on performance, innovation, and sustainability.”

Emphasizing environmental responsibility, Valvoline Cummins will adopt Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) packaging for supplies to Mahindra, aligning with both firms’ sustainability objectives. This initiative not only boosts operational efficiency but also promotes eco-friendly practices in the automotive sector.

Industry analysts view the partnership as a catalyst for growth in India’s burgeoning mobility market, promising enhanced vehicle longevity and customer satisfaction through innovative, reliable solutions.
