More Finished Lubricant Price Increases
AOCUSA (Amalie) has notified customers of a lubricant price increase tied to what the company described as sudden geopolitical disruptions affecting global supply chains. In a letter to customers, the Tampa, Florida–based supplier said prices for all products will increase by 48 cents per gallon, while grease will increase by 7 cents per pound. The adjustments apply to orders received on or after April 1, 2026.
The company said the move is necessary to address “extraordinary pressures on raw materials and the supply chain” resulting from recent global developments and cautioned that additional increases could follow if conditions continue to escalate.
Omni Specialty Packaging has notified customers of a lubricant price increase affecting all products. In a communication to customers, the company said prices will increase by $0.50 per gallon across the board, effective April 7, 2026. The company said the increase is in response to multiple price increases it has received on base oils and additives, which have raised production costs across its lubricant product lines.
The following table summarizes the finished lubricant price increase announcements reported today, along with the increase announced by PennStar, LLC that JobbersWorld reported yesterday. Together, these announcements illustrate how rising costs for base oils, additives, and logistics are beginning to move through the finished lubricants market.
