Valvoline announced that its Premium Blue One Solution Gen 2 heavy-duty engine oil has received approval from Cummins, supporting oil drain intervals of up to 100,000 miles in certain applications.

The company said the product is the first OEM-approved tri-fuel heavy-duty engine oil, formulated for use across diesel, natural gas, and gasoline engines. According to Valvoline, the oil is engineered to deliver up to a 25,000-mile extension in oil drain intervals, helping fleets reduce maintenance events, improve uptime, and lower operating costs.

Valvoline said the announcement was made during the Technology & Maintenance Council’s 2026 Annual Meeting and noted that the product builds on its long-standing collaboration with Cummins. The company said the formulation is designed to meet the evolving performance demands of modern heavy-duty engines while supporting longer service intervals and improved operational efficiency.
