Benz Oil Added Six Key Positions to Support its Aggressive Growth Plan
Benz Oil, an industrial lubrication manufacturer, added six new members to its staff that the company says will position them to accomplish major growth objectives in 2016 and beyond.
President Dixon Benz II stated that, “We are investing in the future of the company and in all aspects of our business. We are executing on our long-term strategic growth plan. By recruiting top talent and adding depth to the organization we expect to be able to enhance our customers experience and execute on our strategic goals.”
Below are the bios of Benz Oil’s recent additions:
Dave Fuerst joined the Benz team as Vice President of Sales & Marketing where he will be responsible for achieving the company’s growth plans and targets and in implementing key corporate goals & objectives. Dixon Benz II noted “Dave brings to Benz over 30 years of industry and senior management experience and his leadership style and customer centric approach is essential to supporting our aggressive plans to accelerate growth”. Fuerst most recently served as Castrol Industrial North America Inc.’s President & CEO from 2008-2015. Prior to that he held various sales & marketing and operations related positions within Castrol Industrial North America, Inc. He started his career with Mobil Chemical, Pittsford New York.
Michael Grimes has been appointed National Grinding Sales Manager where he is responsible for executing the company’s strategic initiative in grinding. His 26 years of lubricant industry and strategic business development experience draws from a career that has been dedicated to the lubricant industry. Dixon Benz II stated that “Mike’s broad business and commercial background supports our goal to continue to be at the forefront in grinding fluid technology. His strategic approach to selling, global business experience, ability to plan, execute and communication skills will serve us and our customers well.” Prior to joining Benz Mike held various customer centric roles and management positions at Qualichem, Quaker, and Castrol.
Matt Williamson has been appointed as Marketing Manager and will be responsible for supporting and expanding Benz’s marketing efforts in an ever changing digital world. Matt has an Advertising degree from Marquette University and has over 15 years of experience in marketing, design, video production and digital media solutions from his tenure at GE Healthcare and Kohl’s.
Susan Marr joined Benz as Financial Analyst and will focus on data analytics and best practices. Susan has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. She has over nine years of experience at Johnson Controls where she performed various roles as team lead, subject matter expert and supervisory roles.
Loren Blumberg joined the Benz team in May 2016 as Director Strategic Alliances. He will play a key role in helping Benz achieve its strategic growth objectives. Loren has 23 years of sales and marketing experience from Castrol Industrial where he was a member of the Americas executive leadership team for the previous seven (7) years. He has a proven track record of increasing business performance, leading and directing field sales personnel, and exceeding sales growth targets. Blumberg is based in Michigan and will lead a team of sales professionals focused on the Eastern half of the country. Prior to Castrol, Blumberg utilized his Metallurgical Engineering degree at the Torrington Company.
Patty Rose is the newly selected Director of Marketing & Product Management at Benz. Her focus will be on developing marketing programs and driving Benz’s product decisions that will support its customers as well as the company’s growth objectives and targets. Rose has a diversified career spanning nearly 28 years at Castrol Industrial North America in technology, marketing, and customer centric roles. For the last six (6) years, Rose was a member of the executive leadership team with Castrol. Her broad range of roles and leadership will be an asset in delivering Benz’s strategic goals.
