ExxonMobil is the Second Major to Move Prices in 2019

ExxonMobil announced it will increase the price of its finished lubricants and greases by up to 6%. The increase is effective May 6th.

As reported by JobbersWorld on March 22, Chevron was the first major to announced a general price increase in 2019. The increase will move the price of its lubricants and greases by up to 6%, effective on May 6th, 2019. In certain instances, Chevron says specific products may increase in amounts outside this range. Chevron attributed the increase to the higher cost of raw materials.
