Dilmar Oil Company Appoints Industry Veteran Tom Watson as Executive Vice President of SupplyPro
Dilmar Oil Company has named Tom Watson as the Executive Vice President of SupplyPro, its recently acquired oil manufacturing division, effective April 1, 2025. This strategic move reinforces Dilmar’s long-term commitment to growth, vertical integration, and operational excellence within the lubricants industry.
The announcement follows Dilmar’s acquisition of SupplyPro in December 2024. With operations based in Atlanta, GA, SupplyPro significantly expands Dilmar’s in-house capabilities in blending and manufacturing, allowing the company to better control product quality, supply chain, and value delivery to customers across the Southeast and beyond.
Watson, a seasoned executive with more than 30 years of industry experience, brings a proven track record in building and scaling successful lubrication businesses. He previously served as President of Petro-Canada America, where he founded and grew the U.S. finished lubricants division from a startup into a nationally recognized sales, marketing, and distribution powerhouse. His background also includes senior leadership roles at Amoco and its successor companies, where he led high-performing teams and drove consistent business growth. His blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen positions him well to lead SupplyPro through its next phase of strategic development.
As Executive Vice President, Watson will be responsible for spearheading the vision, growth strategy, and talent development initiatives for SupplyPro. He will also serve as a liaison between SupplyPro and the broader Dilmar organization, ensuring alignment and integration across business units. Known for his strategic mindset and people-first leadership approach, Watson emphasized the importance of honoring Dilmar’s strong foundation while driving continued progress:
“First, do no harm to an already great company,” Watson said. “Then help in any small way I can to grow the business and realize its full potential, while continuing to make it a place where employees are proud to work—and customers and suppliers are proud to do business.”
Watson’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for Dilmar, as the company continues to expand and invest in delivering high-value lubrication solutions to the industrial, transportation, and passenger car markets.
“We are excited that Tom has agreed to join the team—and even more excited about what this means for SupplyPro! Our SupplyPro team has worked tirelessly to serve our internal and external customers, and we thank them for that commitment. Bringing in an experienced industry professional demonstrates our dedication to this critical part of our business,” said Rob Campbell, President of Dilmar Holdings.
Wade B. Stephens, President of Dilmar Oil Company, comments:
“I’m extremely excited to have Tom join our team! He is an industry veteran who brings a breadth of knowledge not only to our SupplyPro business but also to our entire Dilmar team. He has a passion for winning and for building high-performance teams—qualities that align perfectly with our vision for growth and excellence.”
With this addition to its executive team, Dilmar Oil Company strengthens its position as a forward-thinking leader in the lubrication solutions space—committed to innovation, excellence, and lasting partnerships.
