Warren Distribution Wins Walmart "Supplier of the Year Award"
While the significance of these awards speaks for themselves, Warren Distribution’s achievement in winning such accolades from the world’s largest brick-and-mortar retailer is extraordinarily impressive considering that the Automotive category has over 800 suppliers and Hardlines has over 4,000 suppliers. Further, no lubricant supplier, and there are some big lubricant brands on the shelves at Walmart, has ever won the Hardlines Supplier of the Year. Adding to this, Warren Distribution was one of four finalists for General Merchandise Supplier of the year, for which there are over 10,000 suppliers.
“Obviously, the entire company is proud, yet humbled, to win major recognition like this.” Said Curt Knapp, Warren Distribution’s COO, Sales and Supply. “It certainly helps reinforce how important it is to maintain our plants, processes and systems to always run at peak performance, as well as for all of our associates to work in concert to make sure we achieve consistently excellent quality and service. And we couldn’t do it without the strong support of our supplier partners.”
